So you will know what's goin' on:

  • If your student is riding the bus: if your student will be riding the school bus and you do not have the My Ride K-12 app, you need to get it ASAP (unless you already have it). Once you have the free app, you must register your student, in order to get your bus route and times. Here is the instructions flyer.
  • Meet n' Greet/Fee & Schedule Event: next Tues., Sept. 2. Stop by anytime between 4pm-6pm, to get your schedules, meet admin, buy Madison gear, pay General Support, get your ParentVue info, and get lots of great info.
  • New to Madison 7th & 8th Orientation: 7th & 8th graders that are new to Madison are invited to come for a short orientation at 1:30pm on Sept. 3. They will tour the building, fill in a school map with their classes, and can have all their questions answered.
  • ParentVue/StudentVue: is currently closed until after schedules have been completed. They will re-open for your viewing pleasure, on the evening of Sept. 2.

Cross country team

Cross Country!

Madison Cross Country is for EVERYONE! You don’t have to have any experience with running or other sports to join, you just need be willing to come out and try your best. Our goal is that every athlete who joins the team will feel valued and cared for by the coaching staff and teammates. While some athletes will be racing to win at the meets, others may just be competing against their own personal records. Whether an athlete is super competitive or just wants to have fun being a part of a team and improve each week, we have training plans for everyone, and everyone is welcome!  The middle school race distance is three kilometers, or 1.86 miles, and we will have four meets (including our 4J district meet) and one optional meet at the end of the season as well. We can’t wait to see you at Cross Country practice after school on September 15th!

-Madison XC Coaching staff.

If your student is interested in Cross Country:
  • Practices start on Sept. 15!
  • You must sign your student up here, on FinalForms (fill out and sign every form).
  • We must have a valid sports physical on file, no more than 2 years old as of Oct. 31. The NEHS health center/clinic is a great place to get on if you can't get into your own provider quickly enough. They are fast and have a sliding fee scale, and they also take insurance.
