Register Now: The Wizard of Oz (Youth Edition)

North Eugene Theater Company is thrilled to announce our fifth Corridor Production, an annual performance that will bring together elementary, middle, and high school students in the North Eugene district. The program is open to all 4th through 8th-grade students in the North region. 

This winter, we're producing The Wizard of Oz (Youth Edition), licensed through Concord Theatricals.  

This year we're moving auditions forward to the week of December 15th, and rehearsals begin January 6th. Rehearsals run Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Our work will culminate in three live performances: February 26th and 27th at 6 pm, and February 28th at 1 pm. Show tickets are $10. Registration is open now and closes at the end of the month. 

This program is free of charge, thanks to a generous grant from the Corridor Parent Teacher Association. 

Directors Tim Wilcox and Aaron Thomas will lead NEHS drama students, who will serve as acting coaches, vocal coaches, choreographers, and tech crew. They will be mentors and demonstrate what it’s like to be in high school theater. The production enhances exploration in drama, builds community, and creates a feeder program to support the dramatic arts in North Eugene.
